Proper Installation
The customer is responsible for installing the product according to provided instructions and common safe usage practices.
Improper installation, incorrect positioning, excessive force, or modification of the product may affect functionality and may damage the device or surface to which it is attached.
Installation Instructions
Before installing the product, customers should carefully read the installation instructions or watch the provided installation video.
The protective sticker keeps the camera cover components secured prior to installation.
Removing the sticker before proper placement may cause the unit to separate or lose adhesion.
Incorrect handling prior to installation may affect performance and does not indicate a manufacturing defect.
Intended Use
The product is designed as a removable camera privacy cover and must be used only on compatible surfaces and devices.
The customer is responsible for ensuring compatibility with their device before installation.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HIDECAM is not liable for:
- damage caused by incorrect installation
- damage caused by misuse or modification
- damage to third-party devices
- loss of functionality due to incompatible surfaces
- indirect or consequential damages
This limitation does not apply to defective products or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
Product Handling
The product includes a protective film/sticker used during transport and storage.
Removal and installation indicate acceptance of the product’s condition unless a defect is present.
Adhesive Use
The product uses a self-adhesive attachment designed for a single installation.
Once the product has been applied to a surface and removed, the adhesive properties may be reduced and reliable re-installation cannot be guaranteed.
For this reason, a product that has been installed or removed is considered used unless a manufacturing defect is present.
User Responsibility
By installing or using the product, the customer agrees to use it responsibly and in accordance with provided guidance.
